Delivery Information

We can control our part of the order - the manufacturing and packaging relatively easily. Although we seldom have shipping issues, when we do they can be very aggravating. The biggest problem is not notating damage on the bill of lading and taking photos. Because of this, we must give a couple warnings:

  1. When you first receive a shipment, if anything is wrong when it arrives notate it on the bill of lading before you sign it and take photos. If the material was damaged in transit, the trucking company will not honor a claim without that information. UNLESS IT IS NOTATED ON THE BILL OF LADING AND YOU HAVE PHOTOS WE WILL NOT REPLACE OR REFUND THE MATERIAL.
  2. We want happy customers! Angry ones don't come back. If there is a problem with the material, please call or email us as soon as you realize it. It is very hard to fix an old problem, and we don't want you to have any problems.

We have several Delivery options for you to choose from online, There are situations where a customers shipping expectation is not reasonably possible, and the website cannot anticipate it. When we recognize that type of exception we will call or email you to discuss. If we cannot come to a satisfactory agreement we will let you cancel the order with no restocking fee.

EXAMPLE: A customer wants one piece of moulding 10' long and chooses the UPS option. UPS will not take anything over 9' and will sometimes not take 9', so we limit our UPS packages to 8'.

  • We can still ship a 10' piece, but it will have to either be customer pickup or LTL (which is normally slower and more expensive.)
  • Another option could be send two five foot pieces. or 4' and a 6' piece.
  • Another option we could increase the order to two 8' pieces. (Which would increase the cost.)

Some Delivery Options:

  • Customer Pickup
    • By appointment only - Call or email to setup a time.
  • UPS - USPS
    • We usually use UPS or USPS for small package shipping. They do have limitations on weight, and size, so sometimes even 1 board must ship via LTL.
  • LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight
    • Most of our shipments travel this way. Our typical pricing is based on pick up from the nearest freight terminal or to a business location. There is usually an additional charge for residential/construction site delivery, or for not picking the material up in a timely fashion from the freight terminal.
    • WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BACKCHARGE FOR ANY FEES WE INCUR DUE TO YOUR CHANGING THE TERMS OF THE DELIVERY.
    • RECEIVING: IF YOU SEE ANY SHIPPING DAMAGE, NOTATE IT ON THE BILL OF LADING AND TAKE PICTURES. IF YOU DO NOT NOTATE IT ON THE BILL OF LADING AND HAVE PICTURES THE TRUCKING COMPANY WILL NOT HONOR A CLAIM, AND WE WILL BE UNABLE TO REFUND OR REPLACE YOUR MATERIAL.
  • Truckload
    • When we send a truckload of material we will always specify it be tarped.

Lastly, when we ship your material we will send you an email with tracking information, we will track it daily from our office, and we will follow up with you once it is received.

Thank you very much for your business!

Please let us know if we can help in any other way!
