CLAIMS: It is the responsibility of the buyer to confirm that all items are received as billed. Claims for damage, shortage or below grade stock must be made in writing within 10 days of invoice date. No adjustment will be made on claims made after this 10 days period. Any material that was damaged during shipping must be noted on the bill of lading at time of receipt and pictures must be taken for a shipping claim to be considered.
RETURNS: Authorization must be obtained prior to the return of any merchandise. Returns must be made within 30 days of receipt of merchandise. Returns may be subjected to a 20% handling charge.
CANCELLATIONS: Once production has begun, cancellations will not be accepted for any customer orders for non-stock items.
MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS: SDS information is provided to all customers upon initial purchase. Additional copies are available upon request.
California Proposition 65: Officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide a clear and reasonable warning before knowingly and intentionally exposing anyone to chemicals that are known to the state to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Businesses should be aware of the levels of harmful chemicals in their products and of applicable Proposition 65 requirements. Under Prop 65, no person in the course of doing business shall knowingly and intentionally expose any individual to a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity without first giving clear and reasonable warning to such individuals.
Please consider this our notice under the requirements of California Proposition 65. To the best of our knowledge, the attached explanatory letter, revised Safety Data Sheet for Wood Dust, and suggested warning sign for raw wood products meet those requirements.
